I’m addicted to google reader and since google knows everything about me, including, but not limited to, what I like, it often suggests feeds for me that I might like. one such feed is guitargear.org

the author (goofydawg) writes reviews of gear and whatnot – yesterday, he posted an article on theory that had some inaccurate stuff and since I’m an incessant know-it-all, I couldn’t help but post a correction – it came out more strongly than I had intended and I posted a nicer follow up with some examples – he e-mailed me last night and asked if I would like to contribute – now, I’ve wanted for some time to do some writing or teaching about theory since most of my friends don’t have as much formal training as I do and I thought this was a great opportunity so I took him up on the offer!
I just posted my first article – a brief intro to western music tonality and terminology related to chords, scales and notes – I’m pretty excited about this – I think it will be a good opportunity for me to spout off that someone might actually read (no offense, dearest loyal readers)
